CHRISTmas is almost here!

Hey everyone! Guess what! CHRISTmas is 4 days away!!!!!! I cant wait to get together with family i dont see all the time and open gifts and just hangout with eachother and talk talk talk all day/night BUT most of all Sitting together listening to the Chrsitmas story that we read every year.... And all though we read it every year it seems theres more to it year after year... and listening to the different ones.... Like from Luke, Matthew, And other books... Ones more in death then the other and its amazing to listen to a different indeath one every year:)!

So this year, if its not a family tradition then ask someone to read the Christmas story this year...:)

Youth Pastor

Hey everyone:) I don't know if any of yall out there lost a Youth Pastor; as in they having to leave to go where the Lord told them to go.... Well, our church is losing our Youth Pastor; leaving before the end of the month. The Lord told him its time to go and so they are obeying and heading for to another state... But the hard thing for me to look forward to is IF our Youth is going to break apart again... Me saying that is hard but true... Before this Youth Pastor we had another one that the Lord told to go to else where like now.... At that time we had a big youth and when that Youth Pastor left the Youth left.... And now we don't a big Youth like we did but we have a Youth group that is close to each other and close to the Lord. And all though we are close to our Youth Pastor like most are he did teach us many things in the three years he has been here and one of them was that we cant believe that our connection to the Lord is through the Youth Pastor! Which is very true! So that being true and I truly believe that our Youth understands that, then our Youth wont break apart and stay close to each other AND the Lord. And I know Because I will be; it is going to be a sad time when he leaves but we will help each other with the sadness and be there when one needs a shoulder to lean on... But as one of my friends said "If its going to be hard to say Goodbye, Then DON'T say see you later" And that is very true because he will be around and it isn't like his is leaving the country... just going to a different state... And who knows he may come back to our church one day and stay there forever... but who knows?

We had great times with our Youth Pastor and we will always remember them but sometimes people have to go where the Lord tells them to.... And hes going where the Lord told him to.... And we have his number so we can call him and/or text him.... So it isn't goodbye, its see you later:)

The reason For the Season....

I am a very strong believer in Jesus Christ.... My Lord and Savior.... And when I think about it this Christmas season I will more then likely be hearing, seeing, and reading in text messages this: Merry X-mas.......... ALOT! But do you know what merry X-mas looks like to me??? It looks like Christmas With a big X over CHRIST! Taking CHRIST out of Christmas and the reason for the season! And the people that do say, type, or text to people that make me believe that they are taking CHRIST out of Christmas and don't believe in Jesus Christ..... But X-mas is not they reason for the season! The reason for the season is that CHRIST the SAVIOR was born on Christmas Day! And we should celebrate that! And not be all greedy about getting gifts and hoping "Santa" will bring us alot of gifts! But we should think of others and give to them because Jesus Christ gave to us.... So if your one that believes in Christ Jesus then don't say, type, or text merry X-mas or happy holidays or anything else.... BUT SAY HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS instead.... And correct the ones that send, say or text to you merry X-mas... NO matter who it is! I WILL BE DOING THE SAME AND IF THEY GET MAD THEY GET MAD BUT I WILL KNOW THAT I DID A GOOD THING AND TELLING THEM THAT ITS NOT X-mas, ITS CHRISTmas!

With 2 weeks before Christmas REMEMBER:
Jesus is Better than Santa

Santa lives at the North Pole.
JESUS is everywhere.

Santa rides in a sleigh
JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.

Santa comes but once a year
JESUS is an ever present help.

Santa fills your stockings with goodies
JESUS supplies all your needs.

Santa comes down your chimney uninvited
JESUS stands at your door and knocks.. And then enters your heart.

You have to stand in line to see Santa
JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.

Santa lets you sit on his lap
JESUS lets you rest in His arms.

Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl, What's your name?"
JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.

Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly
JESUS has a heart full of love.

All Santa can offer is HO HO HO
JESUS offers health, help and hope.

Santa says "You better not cry"
JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you.

Santa's little helpers make toys
JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.

Santa may make you chuckle but
JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.

While Santa puts gifts under your tree
JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.

It's obvious there is really no comparison.

We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.

We need to put Christ back in Christmas.

Jesus is still the reason for the season.
